Looking Back
I browsed through my Cape Gazette archives only to discover that I have been writing for them for 11 years! Tough to believe but my habits don’t lie and I am always thinking about the Tuesday column deadline. I must say that the practice of writing a weekly column has really helped me be more aware of my surroundings and the people that I come in contact with. Often people say to me, how do you come up with ideas to write about? I don’t see it that way. Life is what I write about, my life and the lives of people around me. There’s nothing magical here. Just living.
