The Fog Rolled In
Sitting in the stands watching Cape LAX team roll over CR tonight brought memories from LAX games past. We never seemed to be able to beat CR. Their team was always a driving, formidable machine. Tonight the CR fans arrived and posted a big CR LAX banner on the fence in our stadium but Cape was unstoppable. Our defense was strong; strong enough to allow Billy Wright to run up the field with his long pole and score a goal! Alex and Tyler Hefke did well. Final score 16-4, I think as an creeping fog rolled in across Legends Stadium. Maybe we’ll have another 2 hour delay tomorrow!
The LAX boys are looking good and it feels good to beat CR. I have been watching Cape LAX for many years and I have to admit, it just feels good to beat CR. Did I tell you how good it feels to beat CR?
